The material

The material we use is self-developed high-performance glass fiber reinforced (UHPC) decorative architectural concrete. Thanks to the special surface treatment it demonstrates very low water absorbtion and withstands corrosion. The extremely durable and resistant decorative architectural concrete by GIACOTTI can be used both indoors and outdoors, in homes and public spaces.

Concrete is a "living" material. Its appearance is inhomogeneous, crude and coarse. Because concrete constitutes of materials of mineral origin, it may have spots on the surface, variations in color shades, possible micro cracks, which are natural and completely harmless characteristics of concrete.

During use, natural appearance of concrete may change. This is an aesthetically advantageous process during which concrete becomes more noble and patinated.

Panels "NATURAL" may contain smaller pores, their surface is completely smooth, their thickness is even, 1.5-2.0 cm thick, depending on the size.

During the production of Terra panels, mineral stones are added to the basic raw materials of concrete. These little pebbles and grains create a marble like appearance. This panel can be widely customized: the color and size of particles can be freely selected, just like the color of the filling material, giving you an infinite number of final outcomes.
